Hubzilla Association Membership
The Hubzilla Association supports the development, promotion, and distribution of the Hubzilla open source software, and helps maintain its documentation and website. We also help provide support in our support forums.
About Membership
Members help support the Association and Project financially with their membership dues, and participate in decision making within the Association, for example for upcoming public actions and events or for the utilisation of funds. Members also elect the Association leadership, and may serve on the Board of Directors.
Become a Member
This is the procedure for a private person or an organisation to become a member:
- You apply for membership by sending a private message using Hubzilla to info@hubzilla.org or an e-mail to info@hubzilla.org with these informations:
- full name,
- postal address
- Hubzilla channel
- optional: e-mail address
- We will treat these informations confidentally according our privacy policy. After we got your application, we will confirm it.
- After you got our confirmation, you need to pay the membership dues (€24 per year, see the membership fee regulations), using one of our payment options (preferably bank transfer).
- By sending your payment, you agree to abide by the Hubzilla Code of Conduct.
- After we received your membership fee, we'll add your Hubzilla channel to the closed circle where the Association members discuss the development of the Hubzilla project and where internal information is distributed.
Do I Need to be a Member to Contribute?
No, membership is optional. You can contribute to the project without being a member.
