Collaboration Wiki

For Website Content and Documentation

This wiki is for people who are interested in contributing to creating and updating documentation, as well as updating the website content. It explains what we are up to, and is also used to help coordinate tasks.

This is a living document that gets updated as we work. If information needs to be archived or made available to end users, it should be published elsewhere. This wiki is just for team collaboration.

Some of the items we will be focusing on include:

  • Help - The built-in Help system that is bundled with every Hubzilla installation.
  • Website - Documentation and materials that appear on the website.
  • Widgets- Context sensitive help that appears on various pages.
  • Code - Documentation and comments within the codebase itself, and saved to the repositories.
  • Development - Updating Hubzilla's features so that it is better suited for displaying our content.
  • Internal - Resources that are for various Hubzilla teams, such as this wiki.
  • Translations - Efforts to translate materials into other languages.
  • Coordination - Working with third-parties.

Different people may be working on different things at the same time. One of the purposes of this wiki is to help us avoid stepping on each other's toes.

Volunteers

The people working on documentation and content are volunteers. You do not have to be a member of the Association to contribute.

  • Team - Some of our team members are listed here.
  • Activities - What people are working on now.
  • Meetings - We may hold regular or ad hoc meetings.

If you are working on some documentation related to Hubzilla, you are welcome to add yourself to the Team page. This includes documentation on websites operated by third-parties. We want to encourage both official and unofficial documentation efforts, and would like to encourage collaboration and cross-pollination.
