More status checks for non-Zot/Nomad connections
Something I'd really like to see are more checks, or checks at all, for #
connections to the world outside of Zot and Nomad, specifically #
ActivityPub. Apparently, these connections aren't checked at all after they've been established, other than when the other side confirms them.
The indicator for connections becoming mutual should be the dot going from yellow to green, I guess. But even that is hit-and-miss at best through ActivityPub. AFAIK, I have Mastodon connections that are mutual but still yellow.
Even connections that came from Mastodon in the first place are all yellow although they're always mutual if they're confirmed manually.
In addition to that, it's impossible to see if someone is still following me. I got dozens upon dozens of random followers over the last ten months or so, some of whom only wanted to make their personal Mastodon timelines as busy with uninteresting stuff as what they were used to on Twitter. I guess not all of them are still following me. But the only way to find that out is by checking their profiles one by one and going through their list of followed actors.
In fact, Hubzilla doesn't even check if ActivityPub connections are still reachable. Every once in a while, when I go through my connections, I stumble upon one or several whose instances are completely dead. There is no indicator for that.
