Disabling comments doesn't make commenting impossible outside Zot/Nomad
When I disable comments on a post, users on #
ActivityPub instances, e.g. #
Mastodon or #
Pixelfed, can still send comments. The only difference is that I can't see the comments.
Steps to reproduce:
- Activate disabling comments per post.
- Write a post, disable comments on it, send it.
- Link the post to someone on Mastodon and ask them to comment on the post.
Desired outcome within Hubzilla's possibilities:
- Either Hubzilla keeps the comment from being created in the first place.
- Or Hubzilla has the comment deleted immediately after creation.
Actual outcome:
- I can't see the comment.
- The Mastodon user can see the comment.
- Other Mastodon users can see the comment, too.
- Users on Pixelfed (which supports comment deactivation) can't see the comment, but they can succesfully comment themselves.
