Tracking what is broken...
on my home instance of hubzilla if I try to edit a existing connection I never get the dialog box that shows contact tools (simular to the box for profile tools) as seen here
when I click the edit.. it just circles forever and never returns.
also (which may or may not be related) remote auth (rmagic) does not seem to be working as it accepts the remote auth but never actually shows the connection in the top left corner of the remote hubzilla site
I am using a secondary hub to post this as it does not seem to go through from my own..
also I have deleted and reinstalled from scratch several times trying to find the cause.. any pointers would be great..
