Verification Mail takes too long

Hi
on one of my Hz- hubs after registration often the sending of the Verification Mail takes too long, sometimes over 30 minutes to reach the recipient - What could i try to speed this up?

OK Thanks - so this hub is running on a VPS with debian - where could i try to change settings?

Are you managing the VPS? Then /etc/crontab, or the the user Hubzilla is running as crontab.

this is all a bit above my scope, i have to admit.

I´m on yunohost which includes also a mail server... yh has also an diagnostic tool which pointed out that there are the settings for "the Reverse DNS" different than expected.

In the hosting provider interface i could make changes for this "Reverse DNS" setting and right now the mails are coming in right away after registration - so now it looks good so fare
