Hello,

Can someone explain how to use superblock?

When displaying the page of superblock I just have a blank page with a text saying nothing is blocked. And I don´t see any link or button to block someone else when viewing its profile, for example.

What can be blocked using superblock?

Does hubmins have the tools to block/priorities certain types of traffic?

Is there any document describing, in words intelligible for your grandma, the algorythms used for aggregating traffic for display in the public stream?

Superblock adds a menu entry to the item author menu. Clicking this link will block the author.

Yes, see in admin/security and admin/site.

There is no algorithm involved. If enabled, the public posts known to the hub will be displayed.

ad 3) a hub basically does not know which other hubs are close.

Then how does hub "sees" each others and other networks, like diaspora*?

As soon as you connect to another channel on another hub the two hubs will know about each other. In Hubzilla there is also the directory which helps to discover people.
