I can't see activities from the account #^https://beta.birdsite.live/users/philippepoutou with #Hubzilla
It works with #Mastodon and #Misskey.
Any ideas before I create yet another issue?

what does birdsite exactly ?

If you want to follow a twitter account don´t think that birdsite can provide #ActivityPub activities...

But you can follow easy a twitter account here by importing a rrs feed of an twitter account provided by nitter.
