Hi,

Is it possible to set default channel role for new registrations?

After registration, people go directly to their profile, but there is no choice of channel role, which remains empty. So they cannot receive DM, even when they go to settings and set the role to Personal after connection.

IIRC the channel role should be set to "Personal" by default if nothing else was specified during the registration process. If this is not happening there might be a bug involved for certain configurations.

Is the "Auto channel create" option enabled at your site?

Yes I found that option and it was set. I also found the default channel role.

I turned Auto channel create Off saved the settings and new channel was created correctly as Personal. Now it works also when back On. I also upgraded PHP to 8 meanwhile.
