The Friendica posts do not come as thread. Is there an option to make them in thread to track the conversation better?

The OP issue seems to be an incompatibility with friendicas implementation of groups. I will have a look...

This will only be a problem if everyone re-invents the wheel rather than working together, especially together with projects that already have that functionality.

They seem to be working towards a compatible ActivityPub implementation, so hopefully everyone gets on the same page.
Apparently, the workaround that Hubzilla and Streams uses to get forums to work with Mastodon is outdated.
According to some people associated with Lemmy and other projects, Mastodon works with forums and discussion groups on their platforms without the workaround we are using.
And, apparently, our workaround now makes our forums incompatible with Lemmy.
The workaround we use is no longer needed and is actually incompatible with ActivityPub standards. Perhaps we need to rethink how we do forums.
