Custom Profile Fields

How to add "Profile Fields" under /admin/profs ??

I can add Custom Fields but they do not show up under /profiles/[xyz]

What I'm missing? Thanks for help

What is the difference of "Basic Profile Files and "Advances Profile Fields" ?
and how to get a File also shown under channel/name and not just under /profile/name ?
