Following Hubzilla channel from Mastodon
I decided to try out Mastodon to see how compatible it is with ActivityPub and Hubzilla.
I discovered a weird issue with Mastodon and Hubzilla. When I try to follow my own Hubzilla account on Mastodon, which should be possible via ActivityPub, it shows my profile as being locked and it does not even notify me in Hubzilla that someone is requesting to follow me.
I also discovered that if I happen to be following them already, they can follow me.
So, basically, I am not notified of new followers, and they can't follow me unless I follow them back. And I don't want to follow everyone who follows me.
What is the workaround for this?
