I don't know much about the protocol side of things, so don't know how (or even if) pinned posts are communicated across the wire.
I thought that was mostly a local thing. Like when somebody visits your channel directly?

Hey Harald, i hope you are doing fine and thanks for the link correction :) Point is, that Mastodon has pinned posts, too (up to 5 i think) but doesn't show Hubzilla pinned posts as pinned on Mastodon.

I know they have pinned posts, but what I don't understand is how pinned posts from another server is supposed to relate to the server you're on.
If you want to view a specific channel, you're taken to the server where the channel is hosted, right?
Or does it try to hijack the channel view from the other servers to show it on the server you're on?

Mastodon show all federated servers in their own interface, which is fine with HZ as well, but our pinned posts don't show there. Probably a matter with a different implementation of AP?
