Bookmarks seem to be broken

It looks to me like the #Bookmarks app doesn't work at all currently.

I only get the small bookmark icon next to URLs in my own posts. When I hover over it, I get the expected hover text. But when I click on it, nothing happens.

In posts from anybody else, I do not get the bookmark icon, so there's no way to bookmark URLs in their posts. This occurs in posts from everywhere, be it through Zot (Hubzilla, (streams)), be it through ActivityPub (Mastodon, Firefish etc.).

And even in my own posts, the bookmark icon only appears next to raw URLs, but not next to links.

Also, I recall there having been an issue with raw URLs from Hubzilla looking weird on #Mastodon when the Bookmarks app was installed because it added "#^" before each URL; https://hubzilla.org became #^https://hubzilla.org. Does anyone know if this is still the case? Or is/was that independent from Bookmarks?
