Comments possible in /pdledit layouts?

Can i comment my own code in /pdledit layouts, like

[region=content] /* that is the center frame */

or will that disturb comanche excuting the code?

I am on a live install, so can't test.

One can, but it isn't a good idea: In the example above it would display /* that is the center frame */ above the rest of content displayed at the center

You could use [widget=comment]My Comment[/widget]
"Comment" is a non existing widget, so nothing will be displayed.

in the help section.

It comments - as i intended - _within_ the comanche script but otherwise does _not_ render. Good!
