Migrating to Postgres

I'm moving to a new server, and I'd like to move Hubzilla to Postgres before I move it to the new server as I don't want to set up a MariaDB server there.

I saw that there is a migrate-mypg.php script in the install directory, but I didn't find instructions on how to use it. Should I just run it with PHP? As a certain user?

How well does Postgres support work nowadays? I remember that in olden times, Postgres sometimes didn't work so well as most developers used MySQL themselves. Is that still the case?

Postgres itself works fine. I do not think the migration script is still maintained and i do not recommend using it.
