How long does the New Member Links REMAIN?
How can the site admin make it stay for "x" months or permanently?
How to remove some links or change the language?

They remain until you yourself go and turn them off manually.

Oh, and you can turn them back on anytime.

I see that they are available at /settings/display under Content Settings
