How to know in which post/thread latest discussion is going on
Apart from Notifications (which are so many, sort of numbs me and mostly do not see) what is the usual "in-page" way to find the latest default activity here, in this very page for example (or in a channel for that matter)
- is there any latest activity side-block/widget that can be activated by the admin
- is there possibility of any filter in the left (or right) side bar area that allows to sort stuffs by latest comments
- anything else
What I mean is, suppose some hot discussion is going on in a post/thread far below than can be seen in the screen (needs much scroll down, and I am not subscribed to that also) - how just I can know of this sudden burst of an important comments/counter-comments/debate going on?
Usually most php scripts or softwares would post the latest comment as a stream/activity item) item at the top or will bump that thread (with comments) to the top. Or at least have such option. Some others will do just what HZ/Zap is doing BUT also add a side block on left or right side to show the Latest Comments ( Like, Poke etc are non-serious activity, do not add much to discussion or knowledge value, hence just Comments only +/- New members so & so joined) - is there any such Admin / Widget option? Thanks.
