activated the addon

MarkdownPoster

under /admin/addons/

but still post are not shown with Markdown. What am I missing ?

The addon just provides the feature. The feature itself must be activated in the editor settings.

after deactivating and again activating the addon MarkdownPoster the options under

/admin/features/

and

settings/editor/

did show up finally...

@RockyIII IIRC the setting in /admin/features is just necessary if you want to enable the feature for all channels.
