I know this has come up in the past, but apparently it is still a thing. I had my friend, who just created a brand new hubzilla site, take a look at the outgoing queue. In it, he found things queued to all sorts of sites like my old redmatrix site and others which have not existed for years. I know that there is no great harm caused by this and eventually it will give up on trying, but why haven't these sites been purged out of the network after all these years?
The list wasn't long enough (only 20) to be every site that has ever been retired (and some of them may not be old). I don't know if that means there is something special about these that has caused them to linger on.
Again, it is not a big deal, but it seems to indicate that something is amiss.
