How to send a refresh of channel settings to connections

I am annoyed that I am getting quite a few mentions with a channel name that has already been deprecated years ago.
In one instance I even noticed that within one single conversation and from the same person I got two different mentions!
This is not a public post, but @Mario Vavti you may be able to get access. If not I can send you carefully blacked screen shots privately.
The second post with the deprecated channel name may have something to do with me being on 6.0RC? But then ... I think that old channel name should not come up again ...
How can I force to update my channel information to all connections?
Make a minor change and then revert that?

Oh, I just saw that my channel's name is also all over the place in this public post ... also varying even from the same posters (including in your very own posts, @Mario Vavti)

A part of the confusion could be your channel clone on a hub which is still at version 4.6
I have not seen this issue otherwise lately...

I don‘t think it has to do with a clone. All channels on our hub suffer from being exposed with old channel names, and, and none of them are having clones (never had).
I will start collecting the places where the old names appear. For now, one that I remember is /directory.
allt channels are affected, but here as proof see tee@, koreanisch@ and tanz@

When possible, drop a location by logging into that website/hub and removing your channel.
Use this form to drop the location if the hub is no longer operating.

I have long ago dropped that clone ... but I am going to delete that hub anyway.

@emanuel @ la bonne heure i know there were bug involved. I thought they were fixed lately... Have you tried to update the profile and save the changes?

Directory in general is a different beast - also there were bugs and probably still are. Some fixes are coming with the 6.0 release

Yes, without any effect. (I changed the text in the description, in "books" and the profile photo)

@h.ear.t So you confirm that it's fixed on your hub? Because on my hub (labonneheure.ch, version 6.0.1) the issue of old names not renewed remains :-(

@emanuel @ la bonne heure i assume your issue is different from the issue @hEARt PhoniX is seeing. I would need more info on what is going on at your site. Also i see some weird behaviour of @hEARt PhoniX channel (and only this one) which i have no explanation for.
