Invite template

I just set up a new hub, and for some reason, the invite templates are empty. Did I miss something when I installed?

Invite needs the two apps be installed: Invite (Einladungen) and Lang (Sprache).

Invite allows differentiated switching of language for email recipients, independent of the language used in the inviter's UI. As far as I remember, to change and reset the language and to use multilingual templates with the LC paths (EN being one of them) the Lang app is needed.

@Hilmar R (u-zapalot) I didn't get any of your replies until now; that's why I was only replying to Mario...

I installed via git, as per the official instructions. Both the invite app and the language app are installed. Also, I had already installed another hub a few days before this last one, and I just checked, it has the same problem. So does this one, which is also a newer installation, from July. The two oldest ones I set up started out at version 3.x, and they both show the templates. The recent ones all started out at version 6.x.

  invite.formal.tpl

Note: The path view/de/ should be (by default) a link to view/de-de.
But I assume, the templates will be there.

Any case, it's worth to try to clean the smarty compiled templates in:
store/[data]/smarty3/compiled/
...where you may see a lot of files. Clean means, delete the files in the folder, but not the folder self. That only results in a smarty recompile of the called templates as needed right in time.

Post me again if that does not help.

Forgot to mention, at admin > site, one of the two options should be ON:
Require invite code
or
Allow invite code
The 1st means, invitations are the only way to register new users.
The 2nd allows invitations beside other ways to register new users.
If both are OFF, the Invite app makes no sense.

@Hilmar R (u-zapalot) the system.language config is not neccesarily the language used by the currently logged in channel while App::$language is.

We are now checking App:::$language against the existing invite template languages and fall back to en if the used language template does not exist. We did not check this before, hence we possibly selected a language template that did not exist.
