Content importer not working (Re-Post from Users Support forum)
I am not sure if I posted to the right forum before (Hubzilla Users support) - It seems, such technical issues do not get much reaction over there. So it might be placed better here:
Content importer not working
I created a new hub and cloned my channels, making the new ones the primary channels. My posts were appearently migrated, but not my photos and other files, leaving dead links in posts. So I installed the addon
content importer
and ran it. But the content does not show up in the addons, and the links in posts are still dead. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, here.
My old hub was re-installed on a subdomain used and abandoned earlier, so I found out that channel/subdomain combination is regarded as "forged" ono some other hubs because the new hash does not match the one archived there. However, the new hub's subdomain is completely new , so there should be no issues between the hosts of the clones. I could just move the few photos I have so far, but I would like to know if this is a systematic problem I will be able to solve.
Does anyone have any ideas...? Added: The old (source) hub was installed before the hubzilla 5.4 update (with few photos stored in the database), but I applied the shell script to move content from database to the file system. The new (target) hub was installed already with hubzilla 5.4.
