There has been an
announcement regarding some ?modifications in channel roles and "contact role to contacts"in the next version of HZ.
(1) When I am not upgrading but making a new installation with the previous idea and concept of channel roles, how do the "old" roles map to the "new" ones .. for example, if in an old install I used "Social - Federation", in a completely new install
now "Public" will be exactly equal to ""Social - Federation"?
Similarly, what do the
other previous ones become in the new?
I understand that any upgrade will not change things, but my question is on what will be the current things' equivalent in the next release in case of new installs?
(2) What is the meaning of "You will be asked to assign a contact role to your contacts" ?
