Might be something for Hubzilla 10 depending on time resources...

Will there be a 10.0 branch where we add stuff meant for that release, or do we just slowly morph dev towards that goal?

@Harald Eilertsen i think i will start to work on containers in a separate branch and merge into dev as soon as it will be somehow stable. This is to not disrupt the usability of the dev branch too much.

Update: have been able to send/receive containerized posts and comments to/from streams from the containers branch :party_popper:

Still many loose ends though...

Need to do some testing in regard to syncing and groups. After that i think the branch will be stable enough to merge into dev

I'd of course love to see some more tests for the new code, but at this stage we have to a long tail of catching up on the testing part anyways.
