A brand new Hubzilla theme is in development!
I have been testing a new approach to building themes for hubzilla, using SolidJS (javascript framework) and with some tinkering and testing and lot of learning javascript I was able to make it work.
Solidified will be a new Hubzilla theme built with SolidJS, shipped through Hubzilla's native theme framework. This theme uses hooks to expose JSON endpoints for Hubzilla modules, allowing SolidJS to handle rendering completely on the client side.
This is still early days, right now only the network module is up and running with bare basic social implementations, and there's a lot more to implement/test/debug. It's a great learning experience so far and I'm genuinely excited to see how this pans out! A preview:
